We have had Daisy ( Now Georgia, or Gigi for short) for a whole year, we just wanted to share an update. We couldn’t imagine our life without her. She is the Energizer bunny. She loves adventures and being outdoors and making friends. She’s so social and has big FoMo. She’s a big daddy’s girl and loves taking up the whole bed at night. She has 2 kitty brothers who she loves to clean like they’re her babies. She’s been to 2 state parks so far and loves hiking. For her first birthday in March 2023, she spent the whole day playing and running with all her doggie friends and family at her birthday party. She’s grown so much in the year we’ve had her. We are so grateful for you for bringing her to us.
This is Bodie formerly known as Darwin. He’s sporting his new puppy cut. How cute is that! This little man is definitely keeping us on our toes. We’re still working on house breaking and some separation anxiety. He’s very much a puppy. He gets along fine with his new big sister. She has no problem letting him know when he gets to be a bit much. Lol! But oh my he’s the sweetest boy ever! I think we’ll keep him!
Hello, it has almost been 2 years since I adopted Guppy (Gordo at the time). He is my best friend and has grown so much in that time. Before he didn’t know how to use stairs, walk on a leash, and was always terrified of people. He is now an affectionate, adventurous, and spunky little guy. I am so grateful for him.
We adopted Jax, now called “Kika” on memorial Day weekend and couldn’t be happier. Our vet said Huntley animal shelter did a fantastic job and keeping him healthy. Kika is thriving and enjoying all the attention. Kika is very sociable playful and calm, just what I wanted. I’m glad I made the trip to check him out.
I just wanted to update you on Ellie, now Scout. I’ve included a picture of her when we brought her home weighing 12 lb. and her now at 50 lb. I also included the results of her DNA testing as I thought you’d be interested in knowing what her and her sister actually are genetically.
They were thought to be German Shepherd / Boxer but they have no German Shepherd in them at all and very little Boxer. It absolutely blew me away to find out that the largest percentage in their DNA was Rottweiler and then Golden Retriever.
We are enjoying her Everyday! She is such a loving and funny dog. She goes outside and she gets into EVERYTHING!! She drags around bags of mulch and any plastic bags flying through the air that land in the yard, all her toys, and she finds sticks and runs with them and tosses them up in the air to herself, and she loves running after the balls we throw to her. This dog has so much energy it’s amazing!
