This is Waylen, a 4-year-old American Staffordshire/Boxer mix who came to Animal House Shelter from Southern Illinois after being found as a stray. He’s a handsome fellow who gets along great with other dogs, but would do best in a home without cats. Waylen is full of energy and loves to play and run. He recently met a family with kids aged 5 and 9, and they hit it off. Although he can be a bit jumpy and goofy when he’s excited, he’s incredibly sweet and friendly.
Waylen would make an excellent companion for walking or jogging and would love to join an active family on their adventures. He’s ready to find a forever home where he can bloom and grow with a loving family.
