Find A Pet

Ellie

Breed: Poodle
Age: 13 years
Weight: 5 pounds
Gender: Female
Temperament: She absolutely LOVES her walks and curling up on your lap for snuggle time. While it’s unclear how much off-leash time she had in her earlier years, she thoroughly enjoys sniffing around in the fenced yard. At bedtime, she prefers sleeping in a dog bed placed on the human bed. She can be a bit sassy with the bigger dogs in the house, and because they are such good pups, they don’t correct her, so I have to step in. She gets along well with dogs her own size and responds appropriately to their corrections. She would also thrive as an only dog. She lived with her previous owner in an assisted living facility until her owner passed away unexpectedly, which is why she is now looking for a new home. She has traveled flawlessly on an airplane, loves car rides, and is accustomed to walking beside someone who uses a walker. Housebroken and cute as a button, this little cotton ball is looking for a forever lap to curl up on. Ellie adores car rides, relishing each moment with her tail wagging in joy. She's an affectionate pup, well-behaved during baths, leash walks, and grooming sessions. Ellie has mingled with cats and gets along just fine. Even visits to the vet don't faze this gentle soul. Now, in her senior years, Ellie eagerly awaits a loving family to shower her with affection and care.
