Temperament: Meet Luna! Luna is a shy and gentle soul who’s still learning that the world can be a safe, loving place. She spends most of her time curled up in her cozy donut bed, which she’s happy to share with other cats—she’s clearly very cat-friendly and finds comfort in their presence. While Luna is still fearful and very much a work in progress, she will come out for food and treats (a great first step!). If you’re patient enough to reach out and give her a gentle touch, she doesn’t resist—in fact, she seems to enjoy it. There's a sweet and tender cat beneath the fear, just waiting to feel secure enough to shine. Luna would thrive in a quiet, understanding home or a foster environment where she can build confidence at her own pace. With time, love, and patience, Luna has the potential to blossom into a truly special companion.

All cats are microchipped, neutered, current on all vaccines, and FeLV/FIV tested at the time of adoption.

All household members and any dogs from the household need to be present at the time of your appointment (unless your dog has had prior exposure to cats). A photo ID will be required at the time of adoption.

All applications are considered general. Specific animals are NOT put on hold for adoption. When you visit, our adoption counselors will be able to make suggestions based on the type of pet you are looking for and help you find the best fit for your family.

Animal House Shelter cannot guarantee the breeds of the adoptable animals. The animals are posted on the website as the breed or breed mix based on their physical characteristics they most resemble. We also cannot guarantee the ages of our adoptable animals.
